Washington D.C. – UP.FIT is on the road in the nation’s capital. This week and next, our team is bringing the cutting-edge Patrol Cybertruck and the revolutionary Patrol Model Y directly to law enforcement agencies in and around the Washington D.C. area.
We are visiting agencies in Virginia, Maryland, and stretching beyond into parts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This tour offers agencies an exclusive opportunity to experience firsthand the next generation of police vehicles and get answers to important implementation questions from experts in EV fleet deployment.
We’re not just showcasing the quickness and handling of the vehicles, but demonstrating the future of policing. The UP.FIT Patrol Cybertruck and Patrol Model Y represent the arrival of a paradigm shift in law enforcement technology, combining performance, sustainability and an ability to deploy future upgrades to an advanced hardware and software platform. These UP.FIT vehicles not only have the ruggedness and specialized equipment necessary for police duty today, but the potential for new capabilities in the future without the need for a whole new vehicle.
Throughout this tour, we are demonstrating the unique capabilities of the UP.FIT patrol vehicles and the seamless integration of essential police equipment without compromising Tesla’s industry-leading safety or driver assistance features.
Ultimately, we are most excited about bringing our UP.FIT Patrol Cybertruck and Patrol Model Y to new law enforcement departments in the Northeast and to connect with the dedicated men and women who serve our communities. Tours like this allow us to showcase the tangible benefits of our high-performance vehicles, from their impressive range and performance to their reduced emissions and long-term cost savings. We believe these vehicles represent a significant step forward in law enforcement technology, and we’re eager to share them with additional agencies in the region.
The UP.FIT team is engaging directly with law enforcement personnel and fleet management teams, answering questions about charging capabilities and the infrastructure required to meet vehicle duty cycles. We are also looking for feedback from the departments we meet because we believe that collaboration is key to developing the most effective and innovative solutions for the critical needs of law enforcement.
This Northeast tour is part of UP.FIT’s ongoing commitment providing law enforcement agencies with the most effective tools available to protect and serve their communities sustainably, without compromise.
