Q: Does upfitting void the Tesla warranty?

No. We incorporate mechanisms that allow our upfitting components to be electrically isolated from the Tesla systems and have validated that our UP.FIT vehicles maintain Tesla’s vehicle warranty and battery / drive unit warranty.

1. Cybertruck: 8 years / 150,000 miles battery and drive units warranty
2. Model Y AWD (Premium): 8 years / 120,000 miles battery and drive units warranty
3. Model Y Standard AWD: 8 years / 100,000 miles battery and drive units warranty

Tesla provides law enforcement fleet customers with access to order directly from the Tesla parts catalog, access to online service manuals and training videos, as well as available full collision repair training where if you desire, your maintenance staff can become Tesla-certified for collision repair and handle anything up to these major repair services in-house. Otherwise, Tesla Service can be quickly scheduled in the app and many services are eligible for Tesla Mobile Service where a technician comes to you instead of you needing to drive to a Tesla Service Center.
